PPO/HMPPS Impact Symposium: highlights from the group discussions

The afternoon session was given over completely to facilitated group discussions among the delegates. In her opening address, Sue McAllister asked delegates four questions that run to the heart of the matter:

• How can we learn from failure?
• What hinders or prevents getting it right?
• Where can PPO add most value?
• How can we help?

The panels below are the highlights from those group discussions – ideas and observations, rather than agreed changes to current policies, noted by the PPO and which we undertake to follow up in order to realise some lasting outcomes from the Symposium, and against which we can measure progress at future events.
